(originally written 1/9/12, but failed to post; publishing for the memories!)

In a little more than 24 hours, I'll be on my way to New York, to watch not one, but TWO SI grads take to the stage and wow us on Broadway! Despite the broken ankle and obvious associated challenges in transportation, I'm really looking forward to the adventure.

Thanks to a wonderfully priced Groupon, I'll be staying at Yotel New York, just two blocks west of Times Square. Complete with restaurants, bars, and an amazing terrace nightclub, Yotel is bound to be too much of a good time. For someone on crutches.

I've got a ticket to see How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying, led by Darren Criss (SI '05).

And a ticket for Lion King, in which Adam Jacobs (SI '97) plays Simba. Nice makeup!

Ferry Ride to Bainbridge Island

Today I'm on the ferry to Bainbridge Island. From the ferry, I can see tge Space Needle, the Seattle FD fireboats, and the Seattle Aquarium. I wish I was here for pleasure instead of work!
